1 - What does "Glycemic Index" mean? What is the Glycemic Index of Youth Juice™?
Answer: The Glycemic index (GI) of foods compares their ability to release glucose into the blood within 2-3 hours after consumption with that of an equal amount of glucose which has a Glycemic index of 100.
Any food with a Glycemic index (GI) below 56 is considered low.
The Glycemic index (GI) of Youth Juice is 15, which is much lower than other beverage products available on the market today.

Answer: Ellagitannins are polyphenols which hydrolyze into ellagic acid when ingested. In order to achieve the highest bioavailability of ellagic acid, the Youth Juice™ production conditions were optimized in a way to facilitate enzymatic and acid hydrolysis of ellagitannins (which are too large to be absorbed into the circulatory system) to generate ellagic acid which can be readily absorbed into the blood stream. The conversion of naturally found ellagitannins into ellagic acid and the bioavailability of ellagic acid were further strengthened by combining ellagic acid with berry puree rich with phenolics and other phytochemicals.

14 - What are Fucoidans?
Answer: Fucoidans are the cornerstone of the Asian Traditional Diet. Trials have clearly demonstrated the efficacy of these molecules as immunomodulatory, anticoagulant and antiviral agents. However the activity of Fucoidans are directly associated with their chemical structure, and unfavorable methods of extraction can alter this structure, thus reducing biological activity. Youth Juice™ contains a pure Fucoidan powder, extracted using a methodology that uses no heat or solvents, and ensuring the extracted Fucoidan is chemically identical to the molecule in the source plant.
